Add a short branded message before or after every generated audio file. Use a recorded MP3 or let TTSWP generate it from your text. Pro and Agency plans.
Use cases
- Short brand jingle at the start of every audio
- "Welcome to [Site Name]" intro line
- "Thanks for listening, visit [site]" outro
- Legal disclaimers before podcast-style content
Set up an intro or outro
- Go to Text to Speech → Content.
- Scroll to Intro and outro.
- Pick a source: Text or Uploaded audio file.
Text source
Type the text you want read. TTSWP generates the audio using your default voice. Short phrases work best (under 50 words).
Uploaded audio source
Upload an MP3 that you recorded or had produced. Usually a short clip, 5-10 seconds. The file is stored with your plugin and played before or after every generated post audio.
How it is combined with the post audio
When you generate audio for a post:
- The intro (if any) plays first
- The post audio plays
- The outro (if any) plays last
The resulting file is a single audio file that includes all three parts.
Credits
If you use Text as the source:
- Intro and outro text characters are counted in the generation credit
- You pay for the full combined text each time
If you use an Uploaded file as the source:
- No credits are used for the intro or outro portion
- Only the post text counts against your balance
Updating the intro or outro
If you change the intro or outro text, existing audio files are not updated. To apply the change:
- Regenerate audio on the posts where you want the new version
- For bulk updates, use the Bulk Regenerate action (PRO)
Disabling per-post
Want the intro on most posts but not one specific post?
- Open the post.
- Find the TTS audio panel in the sidebar.
- Uncheck Include intro or Include outro.
- Regenerate.
