TTSWP is operated by Norse Digital Group LLC, a Wyoming-registered company that handles US billing, support, and product operations. The plugin itself was originally developed by Mementor AS, a Norwegian software studio that continues to lead engineering and design.
The split lets us run the product from a US legal and tax base while keeping the engineering team in Norway. Customers interact with the same product either way - the plugin in WordPress, the management dashboard, and these marketing pages all serve the unified TTSWP brand.

What we built
A text to speech plugin that respects WordPress conventions
TTSWP turns posts, pages, and WooCommerce products into MP3 audio files using ElevenLabs voices. Audio generates automatically when you click Publish. The player is WCAG 2.1 AA accessible and adds zero impact to Core Web Vitals.
We built it because every other WordPress audio plugin we tried either looked dated, broke caching, or required clunky manual workflows. We wanted something a journalist or an e-commerce manager could install in five minutes and forget about - while still meeting the accessibility and performance bars that government and enterprise sites need.
Today the plugin runs on sites across news, e-commerce, public sector, and education. The free tier is permanent. Pro and Agency add premium voices, S3 cloud storage, voice cloning, and White Label rebranding for resellers.
How we work
Three things we hold to
Performance is non-negotiable
No plugin earns the right to slow your site down. Our player loads at 3 KB CSS and 15 KB JS gzipped, lazy-loaded only when visitors scroll near it. We treat any Core Web Vitals regression as a bug.
Accessibility is a feature, not a checkbox
WCAG 2.1 AA is the floor, not the ceiling. Every control is keyboard accessible, ARIA-labelled, and tested with screen readers. We update for ADA and the European Accessibility Act because real users depend on it.
Honest pricing, no traps
Free is free forever, not a trial. We never charge overage fees - if you run out of monthly credits, your own ElevenLabs key takes over (BYOK is free on every plan), or top-up packs that never expire fill the gap.
