Eleven V4 is the newest voice model from ElevenLabs. It gives the most natural and expressive narration of any model in TTSWP, and it supports 90+ languages. Pro, Pro Lite and Agency plans can pick it on the Voices page. Free users can try it through the launch offer.
Who gets Eleven V4
Eleven V4 is available on paid plans. Free users can try it with the launch offer credits. It needs plugin version 3.3.36 or later.
- Pro and Agency: Eleven V4 sits in the model picker on Text to Speech → Voices.
- Pro Lite: Eleven V4 is in the model picker and runs on your own ElevenLabs key.
- Free: Free plans use Flash v2.5 and Turbo v2.5. While you have launch offer credits left, TTSWP generates your audio with Eleven V4. Free plans are limited to 10,000 characters per request and cannot use Long-Article Stitching.
- Sites already on Eleven v3: Eleven V4 replaces v3 in the model picker. If your site used v3 before, it keeps it as Eleven v3 (legacy).

Claim 50,000 free Eleven V4 credits
Every TTSWP account can claim 50,000 free Eleven V4 credits until October 13, 2026 at 23:59 UTC.
- Verify your email address. The offer needs a verified email.
- Open the plugin's Overview page, or your dashboard on app.ttswp.com.
- Claim the credits there.
Free accounts can claim it too, so this is the way to try Eleven V4 on the Free plan. The offer works once per account. The credits are shared across all the sites on that account. Credits you have not used by October 13, 2026 at 23:59 UTC expire.
How long generation takes
Eleven V4 is slower than the other models because the model itself takes longer to produce audio. Expect about 15 seconds per 1,000 characters. A 10,000-character post takes about 2.5 minutes, and a 17,000-character article about 4 minutes.
Give a long post a few minutes before you try again. If you need audio fast, generate that post with Flash v2.5.
Article length limits
Eleven V4 accepts up to 10,000 characters per request. With Long-Article Stitching, TTSWP joins several requests into one audio file:

Stitching is not available on the Free plan, so free sites stop at 10,000 characters per article. For posts longer than 17,000 characters, use another model or leave parts out with the no-audio class or CSS selectors.
What it costs
Eleven V4 uses 2 credits per character. That is the same rate as Multilingual v2 and Eleven v3. Flash v2.5 and Turbo v2.5 use 1 credit per character.
Existing audio
Switching to Eleven V4 does not change audio you already have. Each file keeps the voice and model it was made with until you regenerate it. Regenerating a post with Eleven V4 spends credits at the V4 rate.
