Connecting links your site to your TTSWP account so we can count your credit use and serve your audio files. The connection takes one click. You get 10,000 free welcome credits the moment it completes. No credit card is asked for.
Why you need to connect
The plugin turns your post text into audio by calling ElevenLabs. To keep setup simple, TTSWP handles the ElevenLabs connection for you. The plugin sends text to TTSWP, TTSWP sends it to ElevenLabs, and you get back an audio file.
For this to work, your site needs a small identity token. The token tells TTSWP which site is asking for audio, how many credits you have left, and where to deliver the audio file.
How to connect
- In your WordPress admin, go to Text to Speech → Overview.
- A purple Connect Card sits at the top of the page. Click Get Started.
- A new tab opens on
app.ttswp.com. Sign up with your email, or log in if you already have an account. - After you sign in, the tab closes or redirects back to your WordPress admin.
- The Connect Card is gone. Your Quick Stats now shows your credit balance.
What you get when you connect
- 10,000 welcome credits for your first site (one-time per root domain)
- A site token stored in your WordPress database
- Access to the full voice library and all plugin features
- Your Quick Stats card populated with live data
What gets stored where
After you connect:
- Your WordPress database holds a site token and your plan status
app.ttswp.comstores your email, plan tier, and audio files- ElevenLabs stores nothing about you after synthesis completes
Disconnecting
You can disconnect at any time. Go to Text to Speech → My Plan & Credits and click Disconnect. Your credits and audio stay on app.ttswp.com so you can reconnect later. The WordPress database no longer holds a site token.
Connecting more than one site
Each WordPress site connects on its own. Use the same TTSWP account across sites. Each site keeps its own credit balance.
On the Agency plan, you get one shared credit pool and you decide how to split it between sites. See White Label and credit allocation.
If the connection does not work
- Check that your site can reach
app.ttswp.com(some firewalls or localhost setups block this) - Clear your browser popup blocker for
app.ttswp.com - See Connection troubleshooting
